Multan is a city and capital of Multan Division located in Punjab, Pakistan. Situated on the bank of the Chenab River, Multan was Pakistan’s 7th largest city in 2017 census. It is the 5th most populous city of the country in 2022. It is the major cultural, religious and economic centre of Southern Punjab.
